End-of-Week Inspiration: Yuka Sato's "Hat Full of Stars" by Nikki Holland

After a long, exhausting week of teaching, I'm drawing inspiration from the lovely and elegant Yuka Sato. She skates with the kind of calm and serenity that I hope to embody as a teacher in the midst of the chaotic world of education.

Yuka's grace is a sight to behold.

By posting regular videos, I hope to share with you some of my favorite programs from skaters that you may have heard of, and also programs from skaters who you may not have heard of, but won’t soon forget.

Figure Skating, at its best, transcends sport and becomes art. The best skaters can take you on a journey of emotions.

I hope that through this blog, skating can bring as much joy and inspiration into your days as it has for me! I feel privileged to be a fan of this sport, and I am proud and excited to be sharing it with all of you!
